Momentum A job-search platform concept for early-career designers, with verified listings, skill-building and community. Read overviewHide overview
Overview
Early-career designers face fake entry-level roles, ghost postings and scattered resources. Momentum helps new grads build momentum by developing their resumes and skills and finding verified opportunities, in a community that feels approachable rather than performative.
Research
- We each interviewed about five early-career designers.
- People didn't want a new network on top of LinkedIn.
- They wanted help organizing the search, and a way to spot fake entry-level listings and ghost jobs.
What we designed
- Tailored onboarding: resume upload and a few questions drive personalized recommendations.
- Verified job board: community-sourced listings checked by moderators.
- Forum: articles and discussions, no following required.
- Learning hub: courses, communities, mentors and credentials.

Steam Game Recommendation Program A CLI created using Python which utilizes Steam's web API in order to recommend games to users Read overviewHide overview
Overview
I wanted to understand how recommendation systems actually work under the hood, so I built a lightweight CLI using the Steam API to simulate personalization based on user behavior.
What I did:
- Integrated Steam API to access user game libraries (and user library information)
- Parsed and structured game metadata
- Implemented logic-based recommendation rules
- Added functionality for additional explorations in data structures and algorithms (shortest path between two games, most central games to a node and graph data structure)
